Join us for Code Club, at Libraries Horowhenua, run in conjunction with Code Club Aotearoa

We are running Scatch Basics lessons before our main club at 4pm. If you’re a coding novice and would like to start from the very beginning, join us at 3.30pm for some tuition.

For those that don’t require the Scratch Basics learning, join us at 4pm!

Libraries Horowhenua Code Club encourages tamariki to utilise their imagination and creativity through learning to code in fun ways. We start with learning coding basics in Scratch, by progressing through easy to follow projects. Those that are more advanced are welcome to work on their own coding projects at their own pace, in a supportive environment of like–minded tamariki, and our Libraries Horowhenua Librarians. We encourage peer-to-peer and tuakana/teina learning, and empowering our Code Club members to share their knowledge together.

B.Y.O device, or use one of ours.

Tamariki will need their own Scratch account, set up by a parent. Make sure to bring your login details with you! For more information: https://scratch.mit.edu/

Delivered in a fun, friendly environment by Libraries Horowhenua Librarians.
